As a power transmission device,Fire-resistant busbarhas advantages such as high transmission strength, low transmission loss, compact structure, and stable and reliable operation. To ensure its normal operation, the following aspects must be noted.

  I. Installation Precautions

  1. Use an open-style inclined frame installation method to avoid short circuits and adhesive aging cracks caused by misalignment.

  2. Before installation, inspect the brackets to ensure that they are free from deformation, damage, and cracks.

  3. During installation, the longer the fire-resistant busbar, the greater its own deflection. Necessary supports must be used to prevent excessive bending and resulting short circuits.

  II. Maintenance Precautions

  1. Regular inspections should be carried out, especially paying attention to the joints of the induction power supply and the feeder manhole.

  2. Cleaning and protection: Because the fire-resistant busbar prefabricated cabinet has a low defective rate, a complex internal structure, dense wiring of electrical equipment, and poor heat dissipation, the fire-resistant busbar should be cleaned regularly to maintain good ventilation.

  3. Joint maintenance: To ensure joint reliability and reduce the occurrence of short circuits, joints must be maintained regularly, and the replacement cycle should be determined according to the equipment's operating conditions and service life.

  4. Lightning protection measures: To ensure the lightning protection capability of the fire-resistant busbar equipment, the hardware installation part must use a good grounding method to prevent short circuits caused by lightning strikes.

  III. Principle

Fire-resistant busbars are divided into current transmission type, voltage transmission type, and bidirectional transmission type according to the power transmission method. Among them, the current transmission type refers to transmitting current to the load end through a fire-resistant medium under high voltage and low current at the load end; the voltage transmission type refers to transmitting voltage to the load end through a fire-resistant medium under high current and low voltage at the load end. For the bidirectional transmission type, it can transmit both current and voltage simultaneously.

The principle of the fire-resistant busbar is to transmit current to the load end through a fire-resistant medium according to the power transmission requirements to meet the power requirements of equipment and other loads. At the same time, by optimizing the structure and design, the power loss is minimized, and the utilization rate of power is improved.

  IV. Maintenance Methods

  1. Regularly clean and inspect to ensure normal equipment operation.

  2. Regularly maintain and replace joints to ensure joint reliability and reduce the occurrence of short circuits.

  3. Use compressed air cleaning and drying to prevent short circuits caused by dust and other impurities.

  4. Use a good grounding method to prevent short circuits caused by lightning strikes.
